The CLLDF’s Retailer Assistance Program exists to address a crisis situation. At this time, we are primarily focusing on supporting retailers during COVID-19 shutdowns or slowdowns. The program cannot provide relief from consumer debt, or work-related expenses such as payroll, utilities, or lost or stolen merchandise.

Initial response will be made to all applications within one week. If approved, The CLLDF will provide you with financial assistance for rent or mortgage payments. The measure of the Fund’s assistance will be tailored to each applicant’s personal circumstances. Funds are allocated directly to the service provider. Funds are not allocated directly to the individual.

You must provide requested supporting documentation to your claims. This includes your most recent tax return and a copy of your lease, and may include information regarding the income of other members of your household, such as a spouse or other family member(s) in the home. All information that you provide to us will be held in strict confidence.

Our resources are limited and dependent on the generosity of our donors. They will be allocated in ways to best support as many requests as possible.

Please send your application and any necessary documentation to info@clldf.ca
